Crispy Fried Shrimp (Quick Recipe)

Ingredients:

250g shrimp (peeled, tail on)

1 tbsp lime juice

Salt & pepper

Wet Batter:

  • 100g flour
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 egg
  • 100ml ice water
  • 1 clove garlic (mashed)
  • Salt, pepper, powdered broth (to taste)

Optional:

Breadcrumbs or panko (for extra crisp)

Steps:

1. Marinate shrimp with lime, salt, and pepper (10–15 min).

2. Mix Batter: flour, cornstarch, egg, garlic, seasonings, ice water.

3. Dip shrimp in batter (then breadcrumbs if using).

4. Fry in hot oil until golden & crispy. Drain.

Tips:

Use ice water for extra crunch.

Don’t over-fry or shrimp gets tough.

Serve with mayo, chili sauce, or cheese dip.
