Crispy Buttermilk Chicken Tenders (Quick Recipe)

 

Marinade:

  • 1.5 lbs chicken tenders
  • 1 cup buttermilk (or milk + 1 tbsp lemon juice)
  • 1 tsp salt, ½ tsp each: black pepper, garlic powder, paprika
  • Optional: ½ tsp hot sauce

 

Breading:

  • 1½ cups flour
  • 1 cup panko
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp each: garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper

Frying:

Vegetable oil (350–375°F / 175–190°C

Directions:

1. Marinate chicken in buttermilk mix (30 min to 4 hrs).

2. Mix breading in a shallow bowl.

3. Dredge chicken in breading (press to coat well).

4. Fry in hot oil 4–6 mins, until golden & 165°F inside.

5. Drain & serve hot with a sprinkle of salt.
