Ingredients:
500g ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1 egg
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 1/2 cups tomato sauce
1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
2. In a bowl, mix ground beef, onion, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place in a baking dish.
4. Pour half the tomato sauce over the meatloaf and bake for 40 minutes.
5. Remove from the oven, top with cheese and the remaining sauce, and bake for another 10 minutes until bubbly.
6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
