Cheddar Baked Chicken
A crunchy, cheesy delight—perfect for weeknight dinners or whenever you’re craving comfort food without the fuss! Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
½ tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish) Instructions
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat to 375°F (190°C).
Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper. Prepare the Coating:
In a bowl, combine:
Shredded cheddar cheese
Grated Parmesan
Panko breadcrumbs
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Smoked paprika
Salt & pepper
Mix thoroughly until well combined. Coat the Chicken:
Dip each chicken breast in the melted butter, coating both sides.
Press the buttered chicken into the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring even coverage.
Repeat for all the chicken breasts. Bake the Chicken:
Arrange the coated chicken in the prepared baking dish, spacing them apart for even cooking.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). Garnish and Serve:
Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
Serve with your favorite sides like roasted veggies, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad.
