    Prep Time: 5minutes

    Cook Time: 1hour

    Total Time: 1hour 5minutes

    Servings: 4

INGREDIENTS FOR Delicious Sweet Potatoes Recipe:

    • 4 medium sweet potatoes scrubbed
    • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter or coconut oil
    • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
    • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
    • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
    • 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts or pecans

INSTRUCTIONS FOR Delicious Sweet Potatoes Recipe:

    1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
    2. Scrub the sweet potatoes and let them dry.
    3. Melt the butter or coconut oil in a small heat-safe bowl in the microwave. Add maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and pepper and mix together until well combined.
    4. Place the cleaned sweet potato in between two wooden dowels or handles. Thinly slice the potatoes across the top to the sweet potato, being sure to leave at least ½ inch of the potato intact at the bottom. Use the dowels or wooden spoon handles to prevent slicing through the sweet potato fully.
    5. Gently fan the slices of the sweet potato out and then use a pastry brush to brush a bit of the glaze over the sweet potato getting in between each slice. Bake the sweet potatoes for 35 minutes.
    6. Remove the sweet potatoes from the oven and use a fork to gently fan out the slices of the sweet potato. Generously brush the remaining glaze over the sweet potatoes, being sure to really allow the glaze to drip down the slices. Sprinkle with chopped nuts if using.
    7. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes, or until potatoes are fork-tender.
    8. Allow the sweet potatoes to cool for 5 minutes and then serve.

    NOTES:

Leftovers: Store leftover baked sweet potatoes in the refrigerator for up to 3 days in an airtight container.

Dairy-Free: Use coconut oil in place of the melted butter to keep these Hasselback Sweet Potatoes dairy-free and vegan-friendly.

Spice it Up: Add ¼ teaspoon of cayenne pepper or ½ teaspoon of smoked paprika if desired.

Cinnamon Sugar: Brush the sliced sweet potatoes with melted butter and then sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and bake as directed.

Garlic Herb: Swap out the sweet maple glaze for a savory buttery glaze. To do so, combine ¼ cup melted butter with 1 clove of crushed garlic and ½ tablespoon of finely chopped rosemary. Glaze and bake as directed.

This is called ‘Blackberry Margarita Smash’ and it’s a foolproof spring and summer drink! Never met a soul who didn’t love it

    Ingredients:

One cup of fresh blackberries, plus a little more for topping

2-Tbsp sugar, or more or less according to taste-4 oz tequila, ideally reposado for the velvety wood flavor.

    – Cointreau or triple sec, two ounces of orange liqueur

Two limes, squeezed just before use – Crushed ice, to taste

    – Two wheels of lime, for garnishing

    — A few fresh mint leaves, around a handful, to serve as a garnish

Garnish each glass with a dusting of coarse salt or sugar, if desired.

    PREPARATION:

    1. In a cocktail shaker, smash the blackberries and sugar together until the sugar starts to dissolve.

    2. Dilute the blackberry combination with lime juice, orange liqueur, and tequila. Put crushed ice into the shaker.

    3. Put the shaker cover on and give it a good shake for around 15 seconds, or until it’s completely cooled.

    4. If preferred, use a lime wedge to run around the edge of two glasses and dip them into the coarse salt or sugar that has been put on a dish.

    5. Put some crushed ice into each glass that has a rim.

    6. Evenly divide the blackberry margarita mixture among the glasses that have been prepared.

    7. Top with a pinch of fresh mint, a wheel of lime, and more blackberries.

    8. Enjoy responsibly and serve immediately!

    Tips and Variations

To make it alcohol-free, just replace the tequila and orange liqueur with carbonated water or lemon-lime soda.

    – For a delicious alternative to blackberries, try raspberries or blueberries.

    – To make your tequila more fiery, you may either add a slice of jalapeño to the mix or use a combination of salt and chili powder to garnish the glass.

    – After macerating with sugar for an hour, blackberries will release considerably more flavor when mushed.

    – Add a little simple syrup or agave syrup if you’re craving something sweet.

Always taste your drink before adding more or less components; balance is crucial. It really comes down to individual taste, whether sweetness or acidity is more prominent.

    Enjoy !

    Ingredients For Chicken Philly Cheesesteak:

    1. One and a half pounds of skinless, boneless chicken breasts, sliced thinly against the grain
    2. One sliced green bell pepper
    3. One large onion, cut
    4. Two minced garlic cloves
    5. Three teaspoons of butter
    6. Seven pieces of provolone cheese
    7. One tsp of Italian seasoning
    8. 1/4 tspn parsley
    9. Half a teaspoon of salt
    10. One-fourth teaspoon pepper

    Instructions For Chicken Philly Cheesesteak:

    1. First, melt one tablespoon of butter in a hot cast-iron skillet. Add the chopped garlic, onions, and peppers; saute until the ingredients are transparent. When finished, take the vegetables out of the skillet and set them aside.
    2. Next, add the chicken to the same skillet with two more tablespoons of melted butter, salt, and pepper, and a dash of Italian seasoning. When the chicken is well done, remove the skillet lid and cook over medium-low heat. The chicken should sear on both sides. You can use a meat thermometer to determine whether the chicken is done.
    3. After the chicken is finished cooking, return the peppers, onions, and garlic to the skillet and simmer for about two minutes over low heat. After that, cover all of the chicken and vegetables with slices of provolone cheese, and broil the pan in the oven for one to three minutes, or until the cheese is thoroughly melted.
    4. When the skillet is hot and fresh, remove it from the oven!

    Notes:

    1. Slice the chicken against the grain for the best texture. This will guarantee that the chicken is moist, tender, and easily chewed.
    2. Cut veggies into uniformly thin strips to ensure even cooking and excellent texture.
    3. After cooking, give the cheesesteak a few minutes to rest. This will aid in the cheese’s final melting and the blending of flavours.
    4. Toasting the bread can improve the sandwich’s texture and add crunch. (If you decide to go with a low-carb bread).
