A midwestern friend mention it recently in conversation and it sounded intriguing enough that I had to give the recipe a go. 4. Transfer to the prepared baking sheet and allow mixture to pool out, don’t worry about spreading it out.
    5. Allow candy to fully cool, then break into small pieces.
    6. Place chocolate coating in a small bowl and microwave in 30 second increments until fully melted. Dip candy in chocolate and place back on parchment to set.

  • Ribeye Steak Recipe

    Ribeye Steak Recipe

Ribeye Steak, tender and tasty, grilled to juicy perfection! Everyone will adore this easy steak recipe, which is seasoned with fresh herbs, cooked in a cast-iron skillet, and basted with garlic butter.

WHAT EXACTLY IS RIB EYE STEAK?
Ribeye is clearly one of my favorite classic steak cuts. These steaks, one of the “primal cuts,” are the same as a prime rib roast but in steak shape. The meat has a delicate, soft texture and a healthy, meaty flavor similar to chuck.

    Ingredients:

    • 1 rib steak
    • Sea salt flakes
    • Freshly ground black pepper
    • 50g butter
    • 2 sprigs of thyme
    • 1 clove of crushed garlic with its skin

    How To Make Ribeye steak:

Take the steak out of the refrigerator at least half an hour before cooking it until it reaches room temperature. This is an important step in ensuring that the steaks are cooked evenly.

When ready to cook, generously season the steak. Sprinkle with lots of salt and pepper on both sides, and set on top to get an even coverage.

Heat a frying pan. If you are cooking two slices of steak, make sure the pan is large enough to fit the slices comfortably. Otherwise, use two pans and heat them simultaneously. Add the steak to the skillet and cook over medium-high heat for 2 to 3 minutes on each side (depending on the desired thickness and degree). As a guideline, a 3cm steak should be cooked after 5 minutes. If you have a meat thermometer, the indoor temperature should be 50 ° C for rarity, 60 ° C for average and 70 ° C for good cooking.

After turning the steak for the first time, add the butter, thyme and garlic and stir for one minute. To do this, tilt the pan towards you until the butter collects at the bottom of the pan, then pour the butter over the steak repeatedly.

Removing  steak from skillet & permit it rest for 5 min . Don’t be tempt to skip this step, it is esentiel . During the cooking process, the meat particles stick together, so if you cut the steaks right after cooking, all the juices on the board will run out. The rest time allows the particles to relax and reabsorb their fluids, which means you won’t lose those delicious juices when slicing.

Cut the steaks into strips, season and serve with your choice of side dishes and sauce.

    For the Cake:

    Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (176°C). Grease and flour three 9-inch (23 cm) round cake pans, then tap out any excess flour.

    Step 2

In a stand mixer bowl, combine 3 cups of flour, 3 cups of sugar, 1½ cups of cocoa powder, 1 tablespoon of baking soda, 1½ teaspoons of baking powder, and 1½ teaspoons of salt.

    Step 3

Mix on low speed until well blended.

    Step 4

Add 4 eggs, 1½ cups of buttermilk, 1½ cups of warm water, ½ cup of vegetable oil, and 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract to the dry ingredients.

    Step 5

Beat on medium speed until the batter is smooth, about 2 minutes.

    Step 6

Divide the batter evenly among the three prepared pans.

    Step 7

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

    Step 8

Let the cakes cool in the pans on wire racks for 15 minutes.

    Step 9

Then, remove them from the pans and let them cool completely on the racks.

For the Chocolate Cream Cheese Buttercream Frosting:

Beat Butter and Cream Cheese: In a large bowl, beat 1½ cups of softened butter and 8 oz of softened cream cheese until fluffy, using a hand or stand mixer.

    Step 10

Mix in 1½ cups of cocoa powder and 3 teaspoons of vanilla extract until fully combined.

    Step 11

Gradually add 7-8 cups of powdered sugar, one cup at a time.

    Step 12

Adjust consistency with about ¼ cup of milk, adding as needed until the frosting is spreadable.

    Step 13

Frost the cooled cakes with the chocolate cream cheese buttercream.

    Enjoy your delicious chocolate cake!

    Pro Tips:

Use Room Temperature Ingredients: Make sure your butter, cream cheese, and eggs are at room temperature before starting. This helps ensure a smooth, well-blended batter and frosting.

Measure Cocoa Powder Correctly: For accurate results, spoon the cocoa powder into the measuring cup and level it off with a knife. This avoids packing the powder, which can lead to an overly dense cake.

Check Cake Doneness Early: Start checking the cakes a few minutes before the recommended baking time. Insert a toothpick into the center; it should come out clean or with just a few moist crumbs.

Cool Completely Before Frosting: Allow the cakes to cool completely on wire racks before frosting to prevent the frosting from melting or sliding off.
