Banana Almond Smoothie Recipe

✅ Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe bananas (peeled)

  • 10–12 raw almonds (soaked overnight or at least 4 hours)

  • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based like almond milk)

  • ½ cup plain yogurt (optional, for creaminess)

  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

  • 4–5 ice cubes (optional, for a chilled smoothie)


Instructions:

  1. Prep Almonds:
    If using raw almonds, soak them in water overnight. Drain before using. Soaked almonds blend smoother and are easier to digest.

  2. Blend Ingredients:
    In a blender, combine:

    • Bananas

    • Soaked almonds

    • Milk

    • Yogurt (if using)

    • Honey/maple syrup (if using)

    • Vanilla extract (optional)

    • Ice cubes

  3. Blend Until Smooth:
    Blend on high speed for 1–2 minutes until the mixture is creamy and smooth.

  4. Taste & Adjust:
    Taste and add more sweetener or milk if needed to adjust the thickness and sweetness.

  5. Serve Immediately:
    Pour into a tall glass and enjoy chilled. Optionally, garnish with sliced almonds or banana slices.
