Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking Powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup applesauce (or melted butter)
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Topping:
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions:
- Combine dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar.
- Mix wet ingredients: milk, applesauce, egg, and vanilla.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness.
- Cut out donuts with a donut cutter.
- Preheat to 350°F (175°C) for 5 minutes.
- Spray basket with cooking spray.
- Air fry donuts at 350°F for 5-6 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon.
- Brush warm donuts with melted butter and dip in cinnamon-sugar.
