Air Fryer Buffalo Chicken Mozzarella Sticks
Crispy on the outside, cheesy and spicy on the inside — these air-fried mozzarella sticks are the ultimate game day snack or crowd-pleasing appetizer. Ingredients
For the Filling:
1 cup cooked chicken, shredded (rotisserie chicken works great!)
½ cup buffalo sauce (adjust to taste)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup cream cheese, softened
For the Coating:
½ cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs, beaten
1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko for extra crunch)
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp paprika
Additional:
Cooking spray

Chicken: Canned chicken or leftover turkey works too.
Buffalo Sauce: Try BBQ sauce or sriracha for a twist.
Breadcrumbs: Use gluten-free breadcrumbs if needed.

Make the Filling
In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, mozzarella, and cream cheese until creamy and well combined. Prepare the Breading Station
Bowl 1: Flour
Bowl 2: Beaten eggs
Bowl 3: Breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika Shape the Sticks
Scoop the chicken mixture and shape into 2–3 inch sticks. Chill for 10–15 minutes if too soft to handle. Coat the Sticks
Dip each stick into flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs. Press gently so the coating sticks well. Preheat the Air Fryer
Preheat to 375°F (190°C). Spray the basket lightly with cooking spray. Air Fry
Place the sticks in a single layer (not touching). Lightly spray tops with oil.
Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and crispy. Garnish & Serve
Cool slightly, garnish with parsley, and serve with your favorite dip!
