For the Chicken:
2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
1 tbsp olive oil
For the Sauce & Pasta:
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup chicken broth
1 tbsp lemon juice
Zest of 1 lemon
8 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
‍ Instructions
1️⃣ Prepare & Cook the Chicken:
Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear chicken for 5–6 minutes per side, or until golden and cooked through.
Remove from skillet and let rest.
2️⃣ Make the Creamy Lemon Sauce:
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
Stir in heavy cream, chicken broth, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
Bring to a simmer and cook for 3–4 minutes, until slightly thickened.
3️⃣ Cook the Pasta:
Meanwhile, cook bowtie pasta according to package directions.
Drain and set aside.
4️⃣ Slice Chicken:
Slice cooked chicken into thin strips.
5️⃣ Combine & Finish:
Add drained pasta to the sauce and stir to coat evenly.
Mix in Parmesan cheese until sauce is smooth and creamy.
Top with sliced chicken and garnish with fresh parsley.
