Mocha Coffee Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup brewed coffee (cooled)

  • 1 frozen banana

  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)

  • 1/4 cup plain or vanilla Greek yogurt

  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder

  • 1–2 teaspoons instant coffee (for stronger flavor)

  • 1–2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)

  • 4–6 ice cubes

Toppings (optional):

  • Chocolate shavings or curls

  • Whole coffee beans (for decoration)

  • Whipped cream


Instructions:

  1. Brew and Cool Coffee
    Brew a cup of coffee and allow it to cool to room temperature or chill in the fridge.

  2. Blend the Smoothie
    In a blender, combine the cooled coffee, banana, milk, yogurt, cocoa powder, instant coffee, sweetener (if using), and ice cubes. Blend until smooth and creamy.

  3. Serve
    Pour into a tall glass.

  4. Garnish
    Top with chocolate shavings and a few coffee beans for presentation. Optionally, add a swirl of whipped cream.
