Banana Lemon Ginger Smoothie
Ingredients:

1 ripe banana

1/2 lemon (juice and a bit of zest, optional)

1 small piece of fresh ginger (about 1/2 inch, peeled and grated)

1/2 cup plain yogurt or plant-based yogurt (optional for creaminess)

1/2 cup water or coconut water (adjust for desired consistency)

1-2 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional, to taste)

A few mint leaves (for garnish or blending)

Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions:

Peel and slice the banana.

Juice the lemon and zest it lightly if desired.

Peel and grate the ginger.

Add the banana, lemon juice/zest, ginger, yogurt, and water to a blender.

Blend until smooth. Add honey/maple syrup and ice if using, and blend again.

Pour into a glass, garnish with mint leaves.

Serve immediately and enjoy!
