Mango Mint Cooler Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup mango pulp (fresh or canned)

  • 1/2 cup mango chunks (fresh, ripe mango)

  • 1 tablespoon lime juice

  • 1/2 cup soda water (or plain water if preferred)

  • 1 tablespoon sugar (adjust to taste)

  • 4-5 fresh mint leaves

  • Ice cubes (as needed)

  • Lime wedges (optional)

  • A pinch of salt (optional, enhances flavor)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the mango pulp:

    • If using fresh mangoes, peel and blend the flesh to make a smooth pulp.

    • Strain if needed for a smoother texture.

  2. Muddle the mint & lime:

    • In a glass or cocktail shaker, gently muddle mint leaves with sugar and lime juice to release flavors.

  3. Mix the drink:

    • In a mixing jug or shaker, combine mango pulp, muddled mint mix, and salt (optional).

    • Add some water or soda water to adjust consistency.

  4. Assemble the drink:

    • Fill a glass halfway with ice cubes and mango chunks.

    • Pour the mango mixture over the ice.

    • Top off with soda water for fizz (optional but refreshing).

  5. Garnish:

    • Add more mango chunks on top.

    • Garnish with a mint sprig and a lime wedge.

  6. Serve immediately chilled and enjoy!
