Banana Peanut Butter Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe bananas (fresh or frozen)

  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)

  • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based like almond, oat, or soy)

  • ½ cup Greek yogurt or vanilla yogurt (optional for creaminess and protein)

  • 1–2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional, depending on sweetness preference)

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

  • ½ cup ice (optional, especially if bananas aren’t frozen)

For Garnish (optional but delicious):

  • Sliced banana

  • Drizzle of peanut butter

  • Crushed peanuts or granola


Instructions:

  1. Blend: Add bananas, peanut butter, milk, yogurt (if using), sweetener, vanilla extract, and ice to a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.

  2. Taste & Adjust: Taste and adjust sweetness or consistency (add more milk to thin or more banana/yogurt to thicken).

  3. Serve: Pour into a tall glass.

  4. Garnish: Top with banana slices, a drizzle of peanut butter, and a sprinkle of crushed peanuts or granola.
