Beetroot, Banana & Strawberry Smoothie
A delicious and nutrient-rich smoothie, perfect for a healthy boost any time of the day!
Ingredients:
• ½ medium beetroot (raw or cooked, as preferred)
• 1 ripe banana
• 5 fresh or frozen strawberries
• 200 ml milk (or plant-based alternatives like almond or oat milk)
• 1 tablespoon honey or natural sweetener (optional)
• Ice cubes (optional, for a refreshing texture)
Preparation:
1. If using raw beetroot, peel and chop it into small pieces for easier blending.
2. Wash the strawberries and remove the stems.
3. In a blender, combine beetroot, banana, strawberries, milk, and honey.
4. Blend until smooth and creamy.
5. For a cooler smoothie, add ice cubes and blend again.
6. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.
