3-ingredient Yogurt Cake
Ingredients
- 500 g (2 cups) plain yogurt
- 4 large eggs
- 100 g (3/4 cup) self-raising flour
Directions
Prepare the Batter:
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F). Grease and line an 8-inch (20 cm) round baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk the yogurt until smooth.
- Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition.
- Sift in the self-raising flour gradually, folding gently with a spatula until just combined.
Bake the Cake:
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30–35 minutes or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool and Serve:
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Slice and serve plain or with your favorite toppings like powdered sugar, fresh fruit, or a drizzle of honey.
