3-ingredient Yogurt Cake

Ingredients

  • 500 g (2 cups) plain yogurt
  • 4 large eggs
  • 100 g (3/4 cup) self-raising flour

Directions

Prepare the Batter:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F). Grease and line an 8-inch (20 cm) round baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk the yogurt until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition.
  4. Sift in the self-raising flour gradually, folding gently with a spatula until just combined.

Bake the Cake:

 

  1. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 30–35 minutes or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Cool and Serve:

 

  1. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  2. Slice and serve plain or with your favorite toppings like powdered sugar, fresh fruit, or a drizzle of honey.
