    Table of Contents

    Ingredients

    For the Cheesecake Filling:

    1000 g quark (20% fat)

    400 g cream cheese

    4 large eggs

    180 g sugar

    2 packets of vanilla sugar

    160 ml heavy cream

2 packets of vanilla pudding powder

2 small cans of mandarins, drained

Steps to Make Creamy Vanilla Cheesecake with Mandarins

    Step 1: Prepare the Filling

Mix the Dairy Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the quark, cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla sugar. Use a hand mixer to blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

Incorporate the Eggs: Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. This helps to create a smooth, homogenous batter.

Add the Cream and Pudding Powder: Pour in the heavy cream and sprinkle in the vanilla pudding powder. Continue mixing until all ingredients are well incorporated.

Fold in the Mandarins: Gently fold the drained mandarins into the batter, ensuring they are evenly distributed.

    Step 2: Prepare for Baking

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) using the top and bottom heat setting.

Prepare the Pan: Grease a springform pan and line the bottom with parchment paper to prevent sticking.

    Step 3: Bake the Cheesecake

Pour and Level: Pour the cheesecake batter into the prepared pan and smooth the surface with a spatula.

Bake: Place the cheesecake in the preheated oven and bake for 50-55 minutes, or until the top is golden and slightly firm. The center may still jiggle a little, which is fine.

Cool Gradually: Once baked, turn off the oven and let the cheesecake sit inside with the door slightly ajar for 10-15 minutes. This helps prevent cracking.

Chill: Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool completely at room temperature before refrigerating for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.

Bananas provide a creamy richness to our no-bake banana dream cake, which also has crispy cookies and delectable whipped cream. When the weather gets warmer, no-bake dishes like this one are a lifesaver. Whether you’re hosting a party or just want a special dessert for a weeknight, this cake will be a hit. When ovens were a luxury few could afford, no-bake cakes were a genius way to make sweets without the oven. Their origins may be found in those simpler times.
To cut through the richness of this sumptuous cake, try it with a strong cup of coffee or a delicate herbal tea. It would be a delightful addition to a dessert spread with some fresh fruit or gelato for a burst of coolness.
Three big, ripe bananas, peeled and sliced
twelve ounces of vanilla wafers—one packet
1 container of thawed whipped topping (8 oz.)
one 3.4-ounce container pudding mix, vanilla, instant
    (1) cup of chilled milk
powdered sugar— half a cup and one teaspoon of vanilla essence
Some more banana slices and crumbled vanilla wafers for topping it off
    What to do
    1. Combine the chilled milk and instant vanilla pudding mix in a large bowl and whisk until smooth. To thicken, set aside for 5 minutes.
Second, whisk in the vanilla extract with the pudding.
    3. In a another dish, mix the powdered sugar and whipped topping until well combined.
    4. In a big dish, stack the bottom with vanilla wafers to begin building the cake. For a sturdy foundation, overlap slightly.
    5. Arrange sliced bananas on top of the wafers.
Sixth, top the bananas with half of the vanilla pudding.
    7. Layer the bananas, then add another layer of vanilla wafers, and finally, top with the remaining pudding.
Put the whipped topping on top and smooth it out evenly.
    9. Add extra sliced bananas and smashed vanilla wafers as garnish.
    10. Allow the flavors to combine and the wafers to soften into a cake-like consistency by chilling in the refrigerator for at least three hours, preferably overnight.

Try using graham crackers or shortbread biscuits instead of vanilla wafers for a novel take on the old standby. You may also experiment with other pudding flavors; for example, you can use banana or cheesecake pudding mixes to enhance the cake’s flavor. For those who are watching their dairy intake, try using almond or oat milk instead of normal milk and a dairy-free whipped topping. Toss in some toasted coconut flakes just before serving for an extra crunch.
Fry up some chicken with some chopped carrots and onions in a pan.
After the onion and carrots have been added, lower the heat to medium. As the chicken begins to brown and the carrots and onions begin to caramelize, continue cooking while stirring occasionally.
Poaching chicken with chopped onion, carrot, capers, olives, and raisins.
Bring to a boil and then add the almonds, raisins, capers, pine nuts, and olives. After a quick stir, pour in half a cup of vin cotto. Reduce the liquids by half by deglazing the pan while scraping and stirring the fond, or browned pieces on the bottom. Toss in the leftover vin cotto and heat till boiling.
In a pan, sauté chicken with chopped carrots, onion, capers, and raisins in a wine sauce.
The sugar and vinegar should be mixed in a small basin. While stirring, heat the addition to the pan. A coating will form as the sauce reduces. Use sea salt and freshly ground pepper as seasonings, according to your taste.

I am of the opinion that there isn’t really a “fast fry” or minute steak that works out cooking it quickly. There are tons of recipes on the internet that tells you to cook it in a frying pan for 10-15 minutes. Well, I’ve had shoe leather with every attempt I’ve made to fast cook those steaks, so that doesn’t really work, does it? I think that if you have a great local butcher that can cut and tenderize real minute steaks then you have it made. If you are buying the steaks at the grocery store, assume that they need to be treated as cube steaks. All of these types of steaks are thin and tenderized yet have never yields a tender result for me from fast frying them. Slow cooking is the way to go!

    Ingredients:
    6 cube steaks
1 medium onion peeled and sliced into rings
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of celery soup
1 packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix
    1/2 soup can of water
    salt and pepper

    Instructions:

Peel, slice and separate the rings of one medium sized onion.
Salt and pepper each cube steak.
Place 2 cube steaks in the bottom of your crock-pot.
Top with onions and repeat. Separating each addition of meat with onions. This will help separate them later and avoid them being one melded mass of cube steak.

In a separate bowl, add the cream of soups and water and mix it up. Pour the soup mixture over the meat..
Sprinkle the onion soup mix on top, put the lid on the crock-pot and turn it on low.
Soon your kitchen will start to smell delicious and 6-7 hours later you will have a dinner! Add a side of mashed potatoes to help enjoy the gravy an a salad or green veggie and you are ready to eat.

Note: If you like cream of mushroom soup, I’m sure you can use that as well. As for me, I’m not a fan, so I opted for a different combination.

Oven baked chicken fried steak is a delightful twist on the traditional Southern dish, which typically involves pan-frying breaded steak. Originating from Texas, chicken fried steak mirrors the technique used for fried chicken, hence the name. By opting to bake instead of fry, we’re cutting back on oil without sacrificing that deliciously crispy coating. It’s a fantastic option for those who love comfort food but are looking for a lighter preparation method.
This oven baked chicken fried steak pairs wonderfully with classic Southern sides. Consider serving it with creamy mashed potatoes, smothered in gravy, and a side of green beans or collard greens. A fresh garden salad can lighten the plate, and don’t forget a warm, buttery biscuit to round out the meal.

It’s a versatile and delicious recipe, perfect for busy nights when you need something both filling and tasty. Try it out, and make it a new family favorite!

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to make this delightful casserole.

    INGREDIENTS:

    • 1 lb ground beef – Lean or extra-lean is ideal to prevent excess grease.
    • 4-5 medium-sized potatoes – Russet or Yukon Gold work best for this recipe.
    • 1 small onion, diced – Adds a bit of flavor and texture.
    • 1 can cream of mushroom soup – The base for the creamy sauce. Cream of chicken or celery can be used if you prefer.
    • 1/2 cup milk – To thin out the sauce a little.
    • 1-2 cups shredded cheddar cheese – For that cheesy goodness. Feel free to adjust based on preference.
      Salt and pepper to taste
    • Optional: garlic powder, paprika, or dried herbs – To add a bit of depth to the flavor.

    INSTRUCTIONS:

    1. Preheat the Oven
Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). This allows the casserole to bake evenly and ensures the ingredients meld together beautifully.
    2. Prepare the Potatoes
Wash, peel, and slice the potatoes into thin, round slices, about 1/8-inch thick. Consistency is key here, so the potatoes cook at the same rate. Set them aside.
    3. Cook the Ground Beef
In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until it’s no longer pink. Break it up into small crumbles as it cooks, and add the diced onions. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the onions are softened. Drain any excess grease and season with salt, pepper, and any optional spices or herbs.
    4. Prepare the Creamy Sauce
In a medium bowl, mix together the can of cream of mushroom soup and milk until smooth. This mixture will help keep the casserole moist and creamy as it bakes.
    5. Layer the Ingredients
Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish lightly with cooking spray or butter. Start by layering half of the sliced potatoes on the bottom of the dish. Sprinkle a bit of salt and pepper over the potatoes. Add half of the cooked ground beef mixture on top of the potatoes, followed by half of the soup mixture. Repeat with another layer of potatoes, ground beef, and soup.
    6. Add Cheese on Top
Spread the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top layer. This will create a delicious golden, bubbly crust as it bakes.
    7. Bake the Casserole
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour. After an hour, remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is melted and slightly browned.
    8. Serve and Enjoy
Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving. This dish is great as it is, but you can also garnish with fresh parsley, chives, or green onions for added flavor and a pop of color.

    Tips for Success:

    • Thinly Slice the Potatoes: Thin, even slices help the potatoes cook evenly. Using a mandoline slicer can ensure uniform thickness and reduce prep time.
    • Add More Veggies: For a boost in flavor and nutrients, you can add veggies like bell peppers, mushrooms, or carrots to the ground beef mixture.
    • Try Different Cheeses: While cheddar is a classic choice, mozzarella, Monterey Jack, or even pepper jack can add a new twist.
    • Make Ahead: You can prepare the casserole the night before, cover it tightly, and refrigerate. When you’re ready to bake, let it sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes, then bake as directed.
